住居と祝福 ロゴ

Logo design for Jukyo to Shukufuku — Dwelling and Blessing. For this logo, I approached “dwelling” and “blessing” not as two separate concepts, but as a relationship that emerges between them. A dwelling comes into being through the relationship between people and space. A blessing is born through the relationship between people. Focusing on the Japanese conjunction “to” — meaning “and” — I designed the logo around the role of connection itself. The straight, angular form represents the dwelling as a physical structure, while the soft, curved form expresses blessing as something emotional, expansive, and immaterial. Material space and immaterial blessing; the everyday and the ceremonial; structure and feeling. These opposing qualities are connected through a single continuous line. Rather than symbolizing a house itself, this logo gives form to the space where people become involved, time accumulates, and blessing begins to emerge.
